Today, we kick off the 2nd annual Women’s Basketball Summit
I was talking with a friend that other day and we were talking about how I am creating a market for girl’s / women’s basketball
Of course there is already market for basketball, but predominantly for men’s basketball
So it got me thinking…
As a coach who coaches girl’s or women’s basketball, how do you get better?
What books, websites, products do you follow to get better at your craft and make your female athletes better?
As a parent, what information do you consume to help your daughter become a better athlete and handle all the stress?
As a player, what programs are you following to get stronger, faster and reduce injuries?
This is one of the reason, I put on these summits, especially The Women’s Basketball Summit
Coaches, parents and players… this is the only place online where you can listen and learn from coaches, coaching women’s basketball.
We have 8 coaches from D1 and D3. I have in the past spoke with D2 coaches
I have the strength coaches from the UCONN and South Carolina women’s basketball teams. Two of the best programs in the country talking strength and conditioning for basketball players
Every speaker on this summit, works with female athletes especially basketball
Another reason, I run these summits, is I get better as a coach. I just spoke with 20 experts so I learned some new coaching and teaching tips and techniques
So going back to my question, how do you get better?
I would love to know how you get better to work with girl’s / women’s basketball
And, if you need help with information on girl’s / women’s basketball, the Women’s Basketball Summit is the perfect place to learn from other coaches, sports performance coaches, a mental game coach, a communication specialist and I have a great conversation with Lance Walker about the ACL and the big debate on how we can reduce the risk
